November 8th

The pictures below are actually from last weekend. After Emma's Saturday morning gymnastics class (she totally loves it), I took her to Travel Town in Griffith Park. It was our first time there and we loved it! They have a bunch of old railroad cars that you can walk in and out of (unless they're reserved for a private party) and they have a cute small train that goes around the perimeter of Travel Town. Emma was in heaven on that train. The train goes around the track two times and it's $2.50 per person. The conductor is really nice and he likes to blow the train whistle. Emma would turn to me and say "I heard it" every single time. Well, $15 later, I finally had to convince Emma that it was time to go home. I'm going to take her back next month when they start their Santa Express rides. Apparently they hang Christmas lights around the area and the train stops at the North Pole where kids can have the chance to chat with Mr. and Mrs. Santa Claus. Emma definitely did not care for Santa last year, but I'm hoping that if I combine Santa with a train ride then she will have a better reaction. I'm not sure if there's logic in that, but I'm going to give it a shot :-)
