November 1st - Daddy's birthday

Here are some photos that I took of Emma on my birthday. Shari made me a "brown velvet" (her version of red velvet, which is my favorite, without the food coloring) birthday cake. Emma put the candles on (notice half of them are upside down) and wanted to help me blow them out.

It didn't occur to me until afterward that I should have had Shari take the pictures so that I could be in them. Oh well. This is Emma's blog, after all, not mine...
