October 31st - Halloween

Emma Claire had a great Halloween this year! We spent the holiday at our friend's house in Los Feliz. Her neighborhood really goes all out for Halloween and we had a blast. Emma started off a little shy while approaching the first few houses on our quest for candy, but we were having to chase after her by the end of the night as she zoomed from one house to the next. My mom provided the cute outfit that Emma is wearing...love the tights :-) Emma participated in a Halloween parade with her daycare friends on Friday. The first picture was taken after Chris got her dressed (he totally did an awesome job with her hair!). Apparently the tutu was not a good idea first thing in the morning since it would have made the carseat a little uncomfortable. I love that Emma will pose in her matching striped shirt and tights with all the confidence that a 2 yr old can muster. Unfortunately I didn't get a picture of her in the parade since she wanted me to carry her the whole way. I couldn't say no to that face, but my arms definitely paid the price. Don't let her svelte figure fool you :-)
