July 4th

We're a little behind with the blog...I know. I have been slacking on my photography, and I haven't seen Shari pick up her camera for over a month! We'll have to work on that.

Here are some pictures that were taken over the 4th of July weekend. Emma's cousin, Melody, was in town from Oklahoma. Melody and Kay came up on Friday (the 3rd), and we took Emma to Amy's Indoor Playground. It was a busy day there, given the holiday weekend, however Emma still had a good time. She really loves going down the slide.

On Saturday we got up and drove down to Dana Point to spend the day with Kay and Melody. I tried to take Emma into the swimming pool, but she wasn't at all interested this year. Funny, because last year on the 4th she loved it. We had a great time, though, eating Melody's famous guacamole and cooking out hot dogs and enjoying the beautiful view from Kay's deck. The weather was perfect. Tom, Jessica and the kids came down later in the afternoon.
