We went to the birthday party last weekend for Avery, one of Emma's classmates at Pasadena Day Nursery. Avery is one of a group of children in the same class that has July birthdays. Her parents threw a small party at a really nice park in Sierra Madre, which is about 10 minutes from our house. There was lots of shade and a cool outdoor play system that the kids loved. Emma particularly likes to go down the slide, and will do it over and over.

The last picture is of Shari holding the baby sister (no, it's not ours) of one of Emma's classmates. She's such a natural, which is the only reason I'm posting this picture. Emma did really well with Mommy holding another baby. She (Emma) is extremely lucky to have such a wonderful mother!
