August 2nd

Emma's first sleepover was a big success!  The girls had their nails painted, played with their dolls, went to the park and stayed up chatting until 10:30pm.  I picked them up the next morning and we went to a really cute Princess and Pirate Sing Along show at the Kirk Douglas Theater in Culver City.  It was a sweet musical set to modern songs and they encouraged the kids to sing and interact with the actors.  Before the show, the kids had their faces painted, chatted with the princesses and participated in some games.  We ended up spending almost all day together and I kept waiting for the girls to get tired of one another, but they never did.  We finally said goodbye at 6pm and the girls were making plans for their next date :-)
