August 11th

A couple of weeks ago we went on a trip to Texas with my mom.  We flew from LA to Houston and spent the night at a hotel close to the airport.  The next day we packed up our stuff and headed to College Station for a wedding.  On Sunday, we packed up again and made our way towards Galveston.  We couldn't check into our beach house until Monday so we checked into our third hotel and Emma went to the pool.  3 hotels in 3 days...thank goodness for hotel luggage carts.  It was Emma's dream come true.  She liked the hotel pool in Galveston the best because it had a waterfall.  My mom arranged for a late checkout that day so Emma could stay and enjoy it on Monday morning.
