August 4th

This past week we traveled to Lake Tahoe to visit Peggy and Chris' dad at their timeshare.  It is a really beautiful area and I'm so glad we were able to make the trip.  Emma was an awesome traveler, however, I'm still trying to learn to pack for just 1 child instead of 10.  Al treated us to a great gondola ride, a ride on the Tahoe Queen (paddle boat) and to the Tahoe Tot Spot (an indoor playground that Emma loved).  Emma also tried out the bungee trampoline much to my surprise.  We spotted it on the first day and she said she wanted to give it a shot.  She ended up jumping on it 3 times during our trip and loved it!  It was really fun watching her try something new.
