October 24th

These pictures were taken last night while Shari was putting Emma to bed. We have a night time story ritual and last night Lucy decided to partake. I think she was really lonely while we were in Tucson, so she was craving lots of attention. I took a couple of others with Emma petting her (Emma loves Lucy), however those didn't come out. Something about low light and a constantly moving 4 year old don't make for good pictures.

Also included are a few pictures of Emma's room that I've been meaning to post. We recently replaced her toddler bed with a twin bed (a true "big girl bed"), as she was outgrowing the other bed. We have very limited space in her room, though, so I had to do some shuffling of stuff and replace the large rocking chair/glider that was so comfortable with a smaller rocking chair. I also relocated her kitchen set up to her bedroom since I needed the room for my home office. I think it's a bit crowded, but it's organized, which is all that matters to me. We'll see how long it stays that way.
