On Sunday we went to Griffith Park, where our good friend, Kerri, graciously hosted her second annual Easter egg decorating and hunt. She invited about 25 kids, but luckily only a more manageable 10 or so showed up. She subsequently stuffed several hundred (at least) plastic eggs with stickers, chocolate, small toys and other goodies for the kids. Emma had a great time. She dyed a few eggs, then played with a golden lab owned by the parents of one of the kids and then stuffed her Easter basket with quite a few of the plastic eggs. She then had fun opening each and every one of them to reveal the surprises inside. She ended up with lots of goodies, and is hoping to do another Easter egg hunt when the real Easter comes in a few weeks!
