January 27th

Emma and I are getting into the Valentine's Day spirit. We made a really cute heart wreath over the weekend and today I tried to take her picture with it. Oh my goodness. This girl had ants in her pants and did everything she could to not cooperate with me. First she tried to put her head through the wreath, then she wanted to play hide-and-seek, then a dog walked by and I finally lost her when she spotted a cement rabbit in someone's garden and she wanted to pet it. I was going to try one more time, but then she slipped on the sidewalk and scraped her knee so it was time to pack up our wreath and head home for a band aid. I asked her if she was going to be our Valentine, but she told me she is going to be Prince Charming's Valentine :-)
