October 10th

Emma Claire was pretty busy this weekend. We started off Saturday with ballet/tap dance class and then ran a few errands in the morning. Later in the afternoon we went to a birthday party and saw some really great old friends. The first few pictures below are from that day. I made the cute cherry dress for Emma...she liked it!

Today did not go as planned, but it was still a lot of fun. I had planned to take Emma to the pumpkin festival by the Rose Bowl, but it was incredibly crowded due to some sort of flea market activity so we decided to skip it and headed to Lombardi Ranch instead. We went there a couple of years ago and it was a lot of fun so we decided to try it again. Emma went on a pony ride, train ride, climbed lots of hay, ran through rows of pumpkins and had her face painted. It was a fun morning!

Seems like Emma gets to ride horses a lot. I'm jealous! :) That is the cutest Hello Kitty face painting I've seen. Sounds like a fun weekend.
