September 29th

The Giles household has been a bit of a whirlwind lately. I was out of town last week for a conference and I still feel like I have about 3,235,624,234 things to catch up on both at home and at the office. Chris took great care of Emma (of course) while I was gone and she is definitely a "daddy's girl". We were fortunate to have my mom come up for a night to help out with Emma Claire. Chris' sister also came to town and we all really enjoyed our time with her.

Emma and I typically go outside after dinner and take a walk around the block. The pictures below show our evenings' activity. I really enjoy our time together as we explore the neighborhood.

The last picture shows my peace offering for Emma's preschool teachers (S'More bars). Emma Claire was particularly sassy today so I made her teachers something special. Chris and I have been on the receiving end of that sassy attitude quite a bit lately. All I can say is that she's lucky she's cute :-)
