For Thanksgiving, we all drove down to see Emma's Grandma (Shari's mother) in Dana Point. The food was excellent (as always), and we enjoyed some spectacular weather. Shari had wanted to get a family photo down at the harbor, but Emma wasn't having any of that...
On Friday, I took Emma and my mother to her gymnastics class, which is one of her favorite things to do.
Then on Sunday, Shari took Emma back to Travel Town (in Griffith Park), where they have trains. Emma got to ride the train again, which is one of her other favorite things to do.
Emma surprised me over the weekend by showing me that she can now pedal her tricycle on her own! I am a very proud daddy, for many reasons (of course), however being able to pedal by herself is a big accomplishment to me! She's getting so big, and is constantly chattering. She's gotten into the questions, like "What doing?", or "Where mommy go/daddy go?", or "What that?" The funny thing is that she'll ask questions that she clearly knows the answer to. She'll also ask the same questions over and over and over... Stating that this phase is a lot of fun would be an understatement!!!
