Shari enrolled Emma in a local gymnastics class, along with our friends Kelley and Geronimo and their son Diego. Shari had a water aerobics class with a friend on Saturday morning, so since my dad was in town, we took Emma to gymnastics. It's a really neat place and she has a lot of fun! She'll be going every Saturday morning for the next few months.
After Emma's nap on Saturday, we took the kids to Kidspace Museum, which is over by the Rose Bowl. I never even knew existed, which is odd, considering that I'm down at the Rose Bowl often, either riding my bike or walking.
Sunday morning we got up and took Emma down to the Aquarium of the Pacific, in Long Beach. Shari and I had been a few years ago, but we had never taken Emma and figured it was something she would enjoy. We got there early before the crowds picked up, which made it a lot easier having a 2 year old along for the ride. She had fun and enjoyed looking at the fish, but the scuba divers swimming in the large tanks feeding the fish freaked her out...
She had a great weekend visiting with her grandpa!
