You wouldn't believe how good I was over Labor Day weekend. First, my parents woke me up super early on Friday morning and drove me to LAX. We boarded a 5 hour plane ride bound for Anchorage, Alaska. I played, took a couple of naps and I ate a few times (I even flung applesauce with my spoon...accidentally, of course!). I soon saw Aunt Sandy and Uncle Gym after we landed. We went to their house and I had a big toy box waiting just for me! I even had birthday balloons, birthday cake and an entire wardrobe with my name on it :-) Aunt Sandy and Uncle Gym rented a motor home for a few days (check out the pictures below and you will see me driving it!) and we took several short day trips around the area. I went to my first State Fair! We saw glacier ice, lots of animals at the wild animal park, went through a long one-way tunnel (mommy said it actually went through a mountain, but I'm not sure if I believe her). I got to stay up late and I turned on my charm most of the time. I think my favorite activity though was pushing my stroller. Silly people actually expected me to ride in it, but it's WAY more fun to push it instead! We also went to a neat old mining area, but I let mommy and daddy explore that by themselves while I pushed my stroller around with Aunt Sandy and Uncle Gym. A lot of times, I found everyone just staring at me as I played. I'm not sure what was so fascinating, but they really seemed to enjoy it. I talked quite a bit while I was playing, but no one except for mommmy seemed to understand it. She knew I was telling her how much I love her! On our last morning, we opened the door to the garage and saw a MOOSE in the driveway! That's definitely something we don't see in California. My parents then loaded me onto a plane bound for Seattle (I was super good on this flight too) and then we took a break. We then went on yet another plane bound for home this time. I could tell mommy and daddy were tired, so I was good on this flight too. Man, I totally deserve a "baby of the month" award or something. Of course, we were stuck in traffic for 2 hours after we were all loaded up in our car and headed for the house. I didn't mind it so much as long as someone was playing with me in my car seat. Check out the pictures below! You will see me at the state fair, hanging out with Aunt Sandy and Uncle Gym, dipping my hands into a cold river, some neat animals at the wild animal park (they even had bears in the trees!), some wild blueberries (mommy totally got a kick out of those) and also hanging upside down in my polka dot pajamas. Thank you Aunt Sandy and Uncle Gym for a totally great vacation...I really needed it! I overheard mommy and daddy talking about another trip in November to Nashville...do they seriously expect me to be good on an airplane again? We'll see how I feel that day :-)

Emma is the cutest little girl in the entire world! The photos of Alaska are breathtaking. I can't believe that Moose was just sitting there. The moose kind of sits the same way Luna sits. :)
Great pictures! Yea, we can finally leave comments on your blog. Emma is so adorable. Hope all is well with you.
