I wanted to post some extra pictures this week since we will be out of town this weekend and won't be posting anything new for a while. Emma has been a great little model as I try to learn more about photography. I'm really enjoying it, but I have a long way to go to achieving the kind of pictures that I want to take. Here are some notes about the photos:

1 - Emma looks super cute in the bath tub so I finally managed to take a couple of pictures without getting my camera wet while also keeping an eye on her. She is very busy in the bath tub so it was a challenge to get some photos of her being still. She loves her bath toys and she has now discovered how to open and close the glass shower door. This was really cute until she started doing it while I was taking a shower!

2 - There is a cute house down the street from us with a white picket fence. I've been wanting to take Emma's picture in front of it for a while now. So, I was trying to time the picture around dinner time hoping that the family wouldn't see Emma as she held on to their fence while her crazy mom was taking her picture. The family turned out not to be at home at all so we were able to get a few shots. My rational friend suggested that I just ask permission from the family, but I was afraid they would say no :-) The pictures didn't come out very well (they're not as sharp as I wanted them to be and my angle was off so that you can't really see the fence) so we will be going back to our white picket fence soon!

3 - I love pictures that compare baby's feet and/or hands to their parents. I desperately need a manicure, so I compared my Converse sneaker to Emma's. She either has super tiny feet or I have gigantic feet! It's probably a little of both.
