She sprouted a second tooth, right next to the first one (on the bottom in the middle). You have to catch a glimpse of it when she's smiling or "talking", though. If you try to open her mouth and look at it, she'll clamp her lips closed so that you can't open them.
We finally got our toddler car seats last week. We've been waiting for them for months, although she's just recently started to outgrow her infant seat. Included below is a photo of her sitting in her new car seat. Shari and I are very excited that we will no longer have to lug her infant seat from car to car. We now have a car seat for each car.
Emma has now figured out how to crawl, in reverse. She still hasn't quite figured out how to move forward, however she's quite adept at pushing herself backwards across the floor. In fact, we have to keep an eye on her to make sure she doesn't go too far or get stuck.
Emma went down to Dana Point on Saturday to visit her grandmother. Emma proceeded to dust the floors for her (in reverse). Shari also had to remind her not to lick the floors.
On Sunday, between playing, crawling backwards, eating baby food and napping, we discovered that she's learned how to wave. I was holding her and Shari was standing across the room. She waved at Emma and she put her little arm up and tried to wave back. It was really cute. She doesn't do it all the time, but she's definitely trying to wave.
We're so proud of our little girl...
