August 27th

Today I learned that Emma has no fear when it comes to roller coasters.  We went to Knotts Berry Farm and rode many rides throughout the day.  This was Emma's third visit to the park since she has been there a couple of times on field trips, however, it was my first time to Knotts.  I loved roller coasters when I was younger, but I have since learned that I'm not invincible and they were pretty scary today.  It was hard to tell what the rides were like as we walked up to them, but Emma assured me they were all fun so I trusted her.  I learned my lesson on the third ride when she informed me that it goes upside down just as we buckled our seat belts.  Needless to say I just hung on and closed my eyes :-)  I asked her if we could go on a ride that doesn't hurl us through the air at some point during the day so she said we could ride the carousel.  It was really fun experiencing the park with her and I think it's great that she is brave and loves the rides.

I know you're both having so much fun! Scary rollercoasters and all! You are much better than me - I draw the line at rollercoasters because I can't handle them! The last picture of her in the hat is super adorable.
