January 9th

I check on Emma every night before I go to bed and it's always interesting to see what I will find.  Lucy, our cat, will inevitably be somewhere close by (she is the black puff ball in the first picture below) and there are usually some stuffed animals keeping Emma company as she sleeps.  Chris bought Emma a speaker for her iPod/iPad and so now there is also music playing each night (Emma's new favorite song is "Roar" by Katy Perry thanks to one of her friends at school).  For some strange reason, Emma also went to bed wearing a bathing suit cover-up over her nightgown.  I'm not sure what that is about :-)
