December 15th

We had a really busy and fun weekend.  Chris' dad came in earlier this week so that he could attend Grandparents Day at Emma's school.  We were so glad he made the trip and Emma had a lot of fun with Al.  The school had a nice Christmas program for the grandparents and then they accompanied the kids back to their respective classrooms for the rest of the morning.  The kids will perform the same program on Tuesday night at a local church for the parents. 

Emma lost her first tooth on Saturday night while brushing her teeth.  She was really excited once she got over the initial surprise of losing her tooth.  The Tooth Fairy didn't have any trouble finding her tooth under her pillow :-)

Today we drove down to Dana Point to attend the Gingerbread House activity at the St. Regis Hotel.  We participated in this last year and it was a lot of fun.  Emma loved decorating her house.  We then drove back up North for a birthday party and then headed home.  It was certainly a full day and a lot of fun.
