November 6th

A couple of weeks ago we left for our trip to Texas to celebrate Chris' 40th birthday, his Dad's 70th birthday and Peggy's 60th birthday.  We departed bright and early from LA (I had to wake up Emma at 4:30am!) and made it to Austin without any problems.  Our first stop in town was at Rudy's BBQ and then we headed on to Al and Peggy's house.  The next day I left for Dallas to see my girlfriend, Danielle, and her mom.  After dropping me off at the airport, Chris, Al and Peggy took Emma to a safari drive-thru park where she had some pretty funny close encounters.  I really enjoyed my trip to Dallas and I made it back just in time for the big joint birthday celebration.
