Nov. 10th cont.

Laura was very gracious and drove us around the ranch in the afternoon.  We saw lots of animals and had a great time.  Laura even shared her homemade jam with us the following morning :-)

The rest of our trip seemed like a whirlwind.  We stopped in Belton to visit with Chris and Lauralyce's cousin and his family.  Then we made our way back to Austin to spend the night with Mary Jo and John.  Their dog, Patches, is Emma's new best friend.  She LOVES Patches and he was very sweet with her.  We left for LA the following day and ended up getting home fairly late.  It was a great trip overall!
