October 5th

Last weekend my mom and I took Emma to Sea World for their Halloween festivities.  They have pumpkin painting, trick or treating throughout the park, cookie decorating, etc.  It's funny how even though Emma won't eat 95% of the candy they offered at their trick or treating stations, she still loved the process of going through the line and getting her candy.  We weren't sure what to expect with the crowds since we went on a Saturday, but it wasn't bad at all.  We had lunch at the Shamu show which is always a highlight in our day and Emma had her face painted which she said was her favorite part.  The girl can never say no to face painting.

We headed back to my mom's house for the night and got up the next day to check out the elephants around town.  They are leaving next month so I'm glad we had the chance to see more of them.  It was a great weekend!
