We decided to attempt our first long road trip with Emma.  Chris and I both love the Monterey area so we planned a vacation over Memorial Day weekend.  Before we went to Monterey though, we stopped to visit with our friend Beth and her family outside of San Francisco.  We really miss Beth and her awesome family. 

I had no idea how Emma would react to our 5-6 hour drive.  Overall, everything went really well.  We hit traffic about 10 miles from Beth's house, but it wasn't too bad.  We picked up some lunch with Beth and her son, Liam and then headed to the park.  We spent the night and then headed out the next morning for Monterey.
