June 18th

Today was Emma's last day of preschool.  The teachers put together a little party and promotion ceremony which was a lot of fun for the kids.  Chris and I have both been really happy with this preschool and we will be sending Emma to their regular school in the Fall for Kindergarten.  Emma will be attending their summer program which includes field trips, gymnastics, art and some fun surprises for the kids.  It's a great transition program since the kids will start their day by walking over to the "big" school and will spend their morning in the kindergarten classrooms doing fun activities.  I think it will be a great way for Emma to become acclimated to the new environment so that it won't be too big of a deal (hopefully) in September.  The school is closed for the rest of the week so Emma is going down to my mom's house tomorrow and will spend a few nights there.  I hear they have quite an agenda planned out.  Should be a fun way for her to start the summer!
