March 10th

I don't even know what to say about today.  It was one of those days where I had high expectations, but nothing seemed to work out the way I thought it would.  I took Emma up to see a photographer who offers cute bunny sessions for Easter.  We have been going to see her for a few years now and I've always really enjoyed the pictures plus Emma likes her a lot which is a bonus.  Today's session did not go very well for a number of reasons so I don't have high hopes for the pictures.  It was disappointing.  I put a lot of effort to get Emma's outfits together plus deal with the time change plus drive ALL the way up to the photographer's house so I think that just made it even more disappointing because normally I don't mind doing stuff like that as long as the pictures come out ok.  Anyway, I decided to try and get Emma back into one of the cute dresses and have my own session with her this afternoon.  Well, none of my ideas worked out either and nothing was matching what I had envisioned in my head plus her headband looked strange to me, but she refused to take it off.  Fortunately Emma still looks cute and her personality shines through in the photos despite my lack of photography skills.  Now we are on to Monday and a busy week....and I still need to adjust to the time change.
