1 - Emma has been sick this week with a fever and cough. She seems better this afternoon so I'm hoping that she's on the mend.
2 - Chris set up an iPod with a playlist for Emma and she LOVES it! She has certain songs from the '80s that she likes plus songs from the Fresh Beat Band on it. I love listening to her sing along to the music.
3 - Emma wants to have a daughter and she is going to name her Twilight. She has a My Little Pony named Twilight Sparkle and so she says that she'll keep the first name for her daughter. She isn't sure about the middle name yet.
4 - She is SUPER excited about Christmas, although there is no desire to actually go see Santa Claus.
5 - Lately Emma has been asking me to call her by her middle name. Apparently she likes Claire better than Emma :-)

I'll have to check out the Fresh Beat Band. If it's on Emma's playlist, maybe it needs to be on mine too. In our family, the middle name thing still has not ended. Each year just before the new school year begins, Emi and Gus both debate which of their names they should go by that year! Except for 2nd grade when Emi decided to go by Emerson, they've stayed with their "real" names.
