July 4th

This year for the July 4th holiday we headed down to my mom's house for a full day of swimming and playing.  Our friend Kristie is in town this week so she came with us along with Emma's friend, Diego, and his dad.  Despite the rather cool temperatures and overcast sky, the pool was nice and warm thanks to the pool heater.  The water was perfect!  My mom decorated her house for the festivities and we all chipped in for lunch and dinner preparations.  The kids had a lot of fun and were asleep by the time we were on the freeway headed home after the fireworks.
