We spent the night at my mom's house and I was scheduled to leave for a training class in Wisconsin on Monday morning.  My mom offered to take care of Emma while I was gone which meant that they would be together for the next 3 nights.  I made Emma a calendar that she could reference in order to keep track of when I was coming back home.  I painted her toe nails per her request, she walked her "dog" and then headed for the beach with my mom while I went to the airport to start my trip.  It's always hard for me to leave Emma, but I knew she would have a great time going to the park, making cookies and watching Mary Poppins over and over and over again while I was away.
