December 25th

My mother has been in town for the past week. I decided to keep Emma home from daycare all week so that they could spend time together, and both of them really enjoyed it. We had a lot of fun.

Emma had her fifth Christmas this morning, which she has been talking about for weeks. She got to make a gingerbread house, Christmas cookies and of course had plenty of goodies when she came downstairs this morning. Santa brought her a princess castle, which I spent almost 5 hours putting together. I need to remember to call Santa to talk to him about that...

She got to spend time with her cousins this afternoon when we went over to Tom & Jessica's house for a late lunch. The food was excellent, as always, but Emma enjoyed her cupcakes the most!
