April 24th

Emma and I are slowly returning to our normal routine of going to work and to daycare. I was fortunate to take off 2 weeks and Emma took a vacation from daycare as well. We had a great time together! We went to Target (our favorite store) many times, played at the park, shopped at toy stores and tumbled at gymnastic classes. I loved being a stay-at-home mom for a couple of weeks.

Last Saturday I took Emma Claire down to my mom's house. My mom indulged Emma's love of candles and cupcakes which of course made Emma very happy. She loves to blow out the candles over and over and over and over again. I was asked to sing Happy Birthday to her quite a few times. We had a really fun day! Emma loves her Gramma and really let me have it when I had the audacity to take her home.
