March 21st

Emma and I went down to my mom's house for the weekend. We had a great time! On Saturday we went to a petting zoo that had bunnies, ducks, goats, etc... My mom bought Emma a token to ride either a pony or a horse. Emma chose a huge horse! Ok, the horse probably wasn't above average in size, but Emma looked pretty small sitting on it. After the horse ride then she wanted to go on the pony. Yesterday we started our day off at the beach (I think that's how every day should start). Emma was a little timid initially, but she quickly started throwing rocks in the water which soon became her favorite activity.

Emma loves to sing and her vocabulary is really taking off. She is also very goofy and often catches me off guard by her funny little expressions. Last week I went to a parent/teacher conference at her daycare center. Her teacher told me that Emma is one of the "easiest" and "best" kids that they have. Surely she doesn't say that to all of the parents :-)
