March 15th

As you can see from the pictures below, Emma has simply refused to stop growing! She is getting to be such a big girl and continues to explore her new vocabulary. As Chris mentioned last week, it is becoming exceedingly difficult to capture a good image of Emma. I guess she is still too young to bribe because I was offering her anything and everything for a decent picture :-) I'm leaving for Oakland tomorrow and will be gone for a few days. I'm sure she will grow while I'm gone despite my instructions to forgo all development until I return.

In a picture below you will see Emma wearing a pink sweater. It's hard to tell in the picture, but there is an embroidered "E" on her sweater. My very creative friend Kristine made it for Emma! If I knew how to do that, I would embroider ALL of her stuff :-)

My mom bought Emma the pretty white sweater shown below as well as my new favorite t-shirt for Emma featuring the white dove. I'm really thankful that my mom is coming up to help us out with Emma on Tuesday. They will be spending the day together and I'm sure they will be doing stuff that I wouldn't normally allow :-) Of course I don't mind at all and I'm just really grateful that they will have some time together.
