December 9th

We put up our Christmas decorations this past weekend. Emma seems to really like the tree and all of the lights on it. Lucy is a huge fan of the tree and she now likes to sleep under it.

On a side note, Emma's new favorite word is "Elmo". She doesn't watch Sesame Street and she doesn't own an Elmo doll (yet...she's getting one for Christmas), but she recognizes him on her cracker box and soup can. I still don't understand why she can say "Daddy", "outside", "bubble" and now "Elmo", but she won't say "Mommy". Doesn't she know I was in labor with her all day? :-)
