I'm trying to find a way to freeze Emma Claire. She is too cute for words and I simply do not want her to change at all :-) Don't get me wrong...she can certainly have her fussy moments (who doesn't?), but she is still an amazingly sweet little girl. A few notes about the pictures and video below:

1 - Our great friends Ben and Kristine bought Emma this super adorable outfit and shoes for her birthday. Of course that meant we had to take her to the park for a little photo shoot! We then ran some errands so that she could show off her spiffy new polka dot shoes. Thank you Ben and Kristine!
2 - The crib shot is not posed at all...who could come up with something like that? I went to check on Peanut the other day and found her in her crib in this very unusual position. She was sound asleep, although I don't see how that could possibly be comfortable.
3 - I was trying to take a picture of Emma next to Lulu the Lamb (she's the stuffed animal that we've been using for the past year to gage Emma's growth) and Emma would not be still! I told her to sit there nicely next to Lulu and give me a big smile, but of course that didn't happen. I did get a smile though which always brightens my day!
4 - The video is really cute. My mom stayed with Emma last Wednesday and discovered that Emma not only likes to ride in her tricycle, but she enjoys pushing it as well!

Emma carries on entire conversations with herself which is really quite cute. No one else can seem to understand her, but I think she is clearly saying "I love my Mommy so much!". Yep, definitely need to figure out how to freeze this little girl.
