1 - Emma loves to get into bags...diaper bags, handbags, etc... I had just finished packing up her diaper bag for Monday morning and then went to make dinner. Before I knew what was happening, Emma had almost emptied out her entire bag! Now we just need to teach her how to put stuff back IN the bag.
2 - I've been waiting to get the requisite "naked baby" shots of Emma and tonight was a great opportunity! Since the pictures came out so well, we will definitely be doing more of them later. I'm sure she will love these types of photos when she's older (insert sarcasm here).
3 - Today we went to Griffith Park and rode a Merry-Go-Round. It's been there since 1937 and has 68 horses on it (all of them move up and down). The Merry-Go-Round moved really quickly and I'm not entirely sure that Emma considered it fun. She had a pretty serious look on her face and kept her hands on the pole the whole time.
4 - The last few pictures are just miscellaneous ones from the previous week. In one of them, Emma is looking at her hand and there's a dime in it (it's kind of hard to see in the picture). Emma likes to pull her piggy bank off of the shelf, tip it over and watch the coins fall out from the slot. She can marvel at the sight of it for quite a while. I'm not sure why we bought all of these toys for her. It seems like she just needs some shiny coins and a full diaper bag to make her happy :-)
